Alysha D’Souza

Alysha is passionate about using entrepreneurial approaches to solve compelling programs. At the DMZ,  she builds customized support programs to help startups grow and scale. She completed her undergraduate degree from Ryerson University with a focus in marketing and entrepreneurship. She was involved in Enactus Ryerson, an award winning student group focused on building programs that empower people to use entrepreneurship to drive social change. Alysha recently completed her master’s degree in digital media from Ryerson. Her research was focused on understanding how social media and digital technology can be used to drive profits and commercial success in the film industry. Since, she’s been using entrepreneurial best practices to help filmmakers develop successful revenue and distribution models. She continues to volunteer with organizations such as Syria Film Festival, IndieFilmTO and Startup Weekend Toronto.
